Tsunami – an arrival or occurrence of something in overwhelming quantities or amounts.
Did you already see today’s news? When did this actually all get started? 1999? 2004? 2011? 2014? 2016? 2017?
It’s occurring to me that we live in the Age of Tsunamis:
- Jet airplanes attacking skyscrapers
- Mentally unbalanced gunman attacking students at school, or patrons at shopping malls
- Bomb explosions at concerts or events
- High speed vehicles mowing down innocent pedestrians
- President of the USA making increasing volume of stupefying decisions
- Sport teams hoarding the best talent to easily mow down the competition
- CEO’s siphoning larger and larger compensation packages
- Movie producers seeking only the next blockbuster movie franchise to repeatedly harvest
- Actual tsunamis
Where is all this heading? What’s going to be our Mother-of-All Tsunamis? Environmental disaster, atomic war, pandemic, artificial intelligence, alien invasion?
I’m beyond numb about all the loss of innocent lives.
What ever happened to subtly? I would like to order some run-of-the-mill subtly for a long long while please!
